These terms and conditions (“Terms”) (together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy) govern the purchase of Goods from www.stlawrencegold.co.uk (“we,” “our,” or “us”) as listed on this website.
Please read these Terms carefully before ordering any Goods from our website. By placing an order, you agree to accept these Terms.
DEFINITIONS
a. “Buyer” means the individual or organisation purchasing Goods and/or Services from the Supplier.
b. “Consumer” has the meaning ascribed in section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act.
c. “Contract” refers to the agreement between the Supplier and the Buyer for the sale and purchase of Goods and/or Services incorporating these Terms.
d. “Goods” means the products the Buyer agrees to purchase from the Supplier.
e. “Services” refers to services the Buyer agrees to purchase from the Supplier.
f. “Special Offers” means promotional offers presented from time to time.
g. “Supplier” refers to DJM Food Solutions Ltd, the owner of the St. Lawrence Gold and Maple Shack brands and their associated logos, registered at 89 Brinklow Road, Binley, Coventry, West Midlands, United Kingdom, CV3 2JB, which owns and operates www.stlawrencegold.co.uk, mapleshack.co.uk, and djmfoodsolutions.co.uk.
h. “Third-Party Products” means products sold that do not bear the St. Lawrence Gold, Maple Shack, or DJM Food Solutions branding.
i. “Website” refers to www.stlawrencegold.co.uk, mapleshack.co.uk, and djmfoodsolutions.co.uk.
CONDITIONS
a. Nothing in these Terms affects the Buyer’s statutory rights as a Consumer.
b. These Terms apply to all contracts for the sale of Goods and/or Services by the Supplier to the Buyer and prevail over any other documentation or communication from the Buyer.
c. Acceptance of delivery of the Goods constitutes conclusive evidence of the Buyer’s acceptance of these Terms.
d. Any variation to these Terms (including special terms agreed upon by the parties) is inapplicable unless agreed upon in writing by the Supplier.
e. Any special conditions applying to the provision of Services are set out in the Schedule to this agreement.

THE GOODS
a. Images of Goods on the website are for illustrative purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, colours may vary depending on screen settings.
b. Packaging may differ from images shown on the website.
c. All maple syrup products on this site are sourced from Canadian maple trees. Our honey products are sourced from a variety of locations around the world, with the country of origin clearly stated on each product listing. d. Goods are stored and handled in a professional, hygienic environment, meeting all UK and EU regulations.
ORDERING
a. Orders are deemed as offers to purchase and are subject to acceptance by the Supplier.
b. If Goods are out of stock, the Buyer will be notified and given the option to wait, choose an alternative, or receive a full refund within 14 days.
c. Promotional and discount codes are subject to fair usage policies and may be withdrawn at any time.
d. If we cannot fulfill an order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or other reasons, we will inform you by email and issue a full refund if payment has been made.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
a. Prices are as listed on the website and include VAT but exclude delivery charges.
b. Prices may change, but changes do not affect confirmed orders.
c. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you before processing the order.
d. The total purchase price, including VAT and delivery charges, is displayed before order confirmation.
e. Payment is required at the point of ordering.
f. Failure to pay may result in the suspension of further deliveries.
g. We accept payments via Stripe, including debit and credit cards. Payments are processed securely in compliance with regulations.
DELIVERY
a. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. The Supplier is not liable for delays.
b. Delivery will be to the address specified at checkout. If you fail to accept delivery, risk passes upon attempted delivery.
c. Ownership of Goods transfers upon full payment.
d. Orders placed after 12:00 pm GMT are processed the next business day.
e. Free UK mainland delivery is available on orders over £30. This offer applies only after any promotional discounts are applied and does not include delivery upgrades or international shipping.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
a. Orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund. Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 14 days.
b. Damaged or defective or incorrect goods.
If Goods arrive damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise not as described, please contact us at info@djmfoodsolutions.co.uk as soon as possible after delivery.
Where possible and safe to do so, please provide photographs of the affected Goods, their packaging and any visible damage. Unless we specifically request otherwise, you should then dispose of the affected Goods and any damaged packaging or broken glass safely and responsibly.
For food safety, product integrity and the safety of our customers and delivery partners, we do not normally require damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied food products to be returned to us.
Once we have reviewed the issue, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement or refund.
c. Returns of food products
For food safety and hygiene reasons, Goods which have been opened, unsealed or otherwise compromised cannot normally be returned.
Certain Goods may also be exempt from the statutory right to cancel where an exemption under applicable consumer legislation applies, including Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly and sealed Goods which become unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Where a statutory right to cancel applies to unopened Goods, your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
d. Where we request a return
In rare circumstances, we may ask for a product to be returned to us for inspection, testing or analysis.
Where we request a return, we will arrange and pay for collection of the Goods and provide instructions for their safe and suitable packaging. Customers should not return food products to us unless specifically requested to do so.
e. Statutory rights
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights in relation to Goods which are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the Contract.
LIABILITY
a. We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach but not for indirect losses (e.g., business disruption or profit loss).
b. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury due to negligence, fraud, or breaches of statutory rights.
COMPETITIONS AND PROMOTIONS
a. We may run competitions and promotions via social media. Specific terms apply to each competition and will be available on the competition page or post.
b. By entering a competition, you agree to allow us to use your submitted content for marketing purposes.
c. Competitions are open to UK residents unless otherwise stated. Employees of DJM Food Solutions Ltd and their families are excluded.
d. Winners will be selected at random and notified via social media. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to select a new winner.
e. We reserve the right to alter, cancel, or amend competitions and promotions at any time without prior notice.
GOVERNING LAW
a. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
b. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
